Our Little Farm and Hooves Boots & Horsemanship join forces to organize a unique holiday and horse experience: It's all about horses. During this week, we combine trail riding and other outdoor activities in the spectacular Swedish nature with theoretical and practical lessons on herd behavior, body language, the connection between horse and human, groundwork, obstacle training and more.

Program (can be changed)
Day 1 – Sunday
Arrival in the afternoon, introduction to the Farm with the horses and the team.
Day 2 – Monday
Morning: Herd behavior theory followed by observing the herd.
Afternoon: We are making a trailride into the beautiful nature.
Evening: We are going on a Wildlife Safari adventure with the Landrover in the Swedish forests.
Day 3 – Tuesday
Morning: Theory about liberty work with horses and part 1 of how horses learn, after which each participant gets a practical lesson in liberty work in the roundpen. You learn to influence the direction and speed of a horse walking loose in a roundpen.
Afternoon: We visit a beautiful waterfall!
Evening: Free for the whole group.
Day 4 – Wednesday
Morning: Today's program includes theory about connection and intension followed by more in depth practical lessons liberty work in the roundpen.
Afternoon: Theory stress and calming signals followed by hands on groundwork where the key aspect is focus & relaxation.
You learn to read horses even better and also to see the subtle signals.
Evening: We make a nice trailride during the sunset with the whole group. Watch the sun set on horseback in the beautiful Swedish countryside.
Day 5 – Thursday
Morning: Part 2 and the horse human connection is discussed. The emphasis is on our own intention and body language. After a bit of theory we combine everything we've learned with a hands on obtacle training.
Afternoon: We make a nice trailride.
Evening: A cozy campfire on the Farm.
Day 6 – Friday
Today we go on our 2-day adventure! We pack the van with all the camping gear for us and the necessities for the horses. Then we'll saddle the horses and the we'll start the trailride into the woods. At the end of the afternoon we arrive at our overnight spot in the middle of the forest, we take care of the horses, set up our camp, enjoy the campfire and spend a night in the wilderness together with the horses.
Day 7 – Saturday
After breakfast in the woods we break up our camp and have a spectacular shorter trailride back to the Farm. After returning to the farm there is enough time to relax in the hot tub. In the evening we'll enjoy a delicious BBQ
Day 8 – Sunday
Accommodation and meals
Based on all-inclusive. All meals are included with all-inclusive.
Breakfast and lunch are all served outside under a roofed area at the farm. Evening meals are also served outside or in the village at a local catering company. Drinks ( Water/Lemonade & Thee/Coffee ) with all meals are included. Dinner is included on the day of arrival and breakfast on the day of departure.
You´ll stay is at one of the accommodations at Our Little Farm. There are several holiday homes: the Foresthouse, Holidayhome Little Farm, all fully furnished with sufficient sleeping places, a kitchenette and bathroom(s).
